Abstract
The enthalpy of solution of SrLaAlO4 in the 2PbO . B2O3 melt at 973 K was m easured using a high-temperature Calvet microcalorimeter. The enthalpies of formation of SrLaAlO4 from the constituent oxides and constituent elements at 298.15 K were determined to be -97.7 +/- 5.5 and -2422.9 +/- 5.6 kJ/mol , respectively. The partial pressures of the vapor species over molten SrLa AlO4 at T-m = 1923 K were evaluated. The equilibrium oxygen pressure at 192 3 K was found to be 5.05 x 10(-3) Pa.
