Abstract
Extramedullary plasmacytoma involving the parotid gland is a rare occurrenc e. This report describes a case of solitary extramedullary plasmacytoma ari sing from the parotid gland of a 60-year-old woman. The importance of thoro ugh follow up for these patients is stressed, as the possibility of multipl e myeloma is higher in this group.
