Cardiac arrest due to hyperkalemia is a known complication of succinylcholi
ne administration in patients with neuromuscular disease, extensive burns,
and prolonged immobility. We report a case of hyperkalemic cardiac arrest f
ollowing the administration of succinylcholine in a patient suffering from
