Abstract
Peritonitis is an infrequent yet major complication of a percutaneous endos copic gastrostomy (PEG), Traditionally, patients with peritonitis from leak ing PEG tubes underwent open abdominal exploration with repair of the gastr ostomy site. We report successful laparoscopic treatment of this significan t complication. Surgical techniques and technical aspects of the procedure are discussed.
