Abstract
A new wavelet-based technique to calculate radiating patterns by the FDTD m ethod is presented. This technique has been applied to th study of a micros trip patch antenna. Results show a substantial gain both in memory storage and CPU time, while maintaining the same accuracy as the classical computat ion. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
