Abstract
Given the popularity of swimming and the high risk of injury associated wit h the sport, many clinicians come into contact with the swimmer's shoulder. This article describes the mechanism of injury, diagnostic tools, and subt le signs of injury for swimmer's shoulder. It focuses on conservative treat ment for the injury, including methods for stretching and strengthening and eliminating acute inflammation.
