Kq. Ruan et al., EFFECT OF OXYGEN-CONTENT ON THE ELECTRICAL-TRANSPORT AND SUPERCONDUCTING PROPERTIES OF PB0.5SR2.5Y0.6CA0.4CU2O7-Y, Physica status solidi. a, Applied research, 161(1), 1997, pp. 245-249
Two kinds of methods have been used to synthesize Pb0.5ST2.5Y0.6Ca0.4C
u2O7-y samples. The synthesized sample using the first method shows su
perconductivity, while that using the second method exhibits a localiz
ed behavior at low temperature. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and e
lectrical transport measurements have been carried out on superconduct
ing and nonsuperconducting samples grown under the two kinds of synthe
sis conditions and the effect of oxygen content on the transport and s
uperconducting properties is discussed briefly.
