Effect of the chemical substitution of Ga for In in a ternary uranium compo
und UCu5 Tn has been studied by means of X-ray diffraction. magnetic, elect
rical transport and specific hear measurements. All the UCu5(In1-xGax) allo
ys are antiferromagnetic. and their T-N decreases from 25 to 16 K with incr
easing ea-content up to its terminal concentration of 75 at.%. At the same
time, the electronic specific-heat coefficient increases by about 25%. (C)
