Dynamic correlation functions of the one-dimensional Kondo lattice model ar
e calculated by the finite-T DMRG method. Dynamic spin and charge correlati
ons, S(omega) and N(omega), and quasiparticle density of states rho(omega)
are calculated in the metallic phase for various temperatures and hole dens
ities. Near half-filling, pseudogap grows in S(omega), N(w) and rho(omega)
below the crossover temperature characterized by the spin gap at half-filli
ng. A sharp peak evolves at omega = 0 at low temperatures in S(omega) and N
(omega). This may be the evidence of the formation of collective excitation
s of a Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid in the low-temperature limit. (C) 2000 Els
