The resistivity rho(T) of the incommensurate antiferromagnet CeCu5.8 Au-0.2
as measured along the a direction shows an increase below the ordering tem
perature T-N = 0.25 K. T-N decreases under hydrostatic pressure, reaching z
ero around p(c) similar to 5 kbar. Beyond p(c) Fermi-liquid behavior rho =
rho(o) AT(2) is recovered over a T range increasing with rho. The residual
resistivity po is found to decrease strongly from 93 to 66 mu Omega cm betw
een 0 and 9.8 kbar. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
