Antiferro-quadrupolar ordering in TmTe under high magnetic fields and highpressures

The magnetization of TmTe along the [1 0 0] direction was measured under mu ltiple extreme conditions of high magnetic field (B less than or equal to 1 7T) and high pressure (P less than or equal to 1.2 GPa) and low temperature (T greater than or equal to 0.5 K), Anomalies due to the antiferro-quadrup olar transition were observed in the field and temperature dependencies of the magnetization and the B-T phase diagram was determined at various press ures.
