Abstract
minuscule amount of nonmagnetic impurity Ni doping into the spin-ladder com pound SrCu2O3 (Sr123) has been confirmed to lead to the antiferromagnetic ( AF) long-range ordering as for the Zn doping by Cu nuclear magnetic and qua drupole resonance (NMR/NQR) techniques. The hyperfine broadening of Cu NQR spectrum and the drastic change of the Gaussian spin-echo decay rate T-2G(- 1) at 1.4 K have been observed for the Sr(Cu1-xNix)(2)O-3 with x = 0.01 and 0.02.
