Abstract
An overview of progress and implications of recent technological advan ces in mechanochemical processing of ferrites is presented. We discuss the potential for applications of mechanical activation by induced ph ase transformations and chemical reactions in soft and hard ferrite ma terials through enhancement of structural and magnetic properties.
