Influence of mesoscopic nonhomogeneities on low-temperature properties of superconductors

The low-temperature asymptotics of thermodynamic and transport properties o f superconductors with mesoscopic nonhomogeneities are analyzed. For the co nventional s-wave superconductors it is shown that a spread of superconduct ing yap values leads to the power-law dependences for temperatures much low er than T-c. The implications for superconductors with different pairing sy mmetries, namely, A15 compounds and high-T-c oxides, are discussed. (C) 200 0 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
