The effect of Pauli paramagnetism in d-wave superconductors like high-T-c c
uprates and kappa-(ET)(2) salts is studied theoretically. We take the quasi
-two-dimensional system with a magnetic Grid parallel to the a-b plans. We
find many quantities obey simple power law in the clean limit. For example.

for T much less than mu(B)\H\ much less than T-c and mu(B) is the Bohr magn
eton. On the other hand, small impurity scattering destroys these simple po
wer laws. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
