Abstract
Various kinds of electric polarization of a rotating metallic disc are disc ussed. A new kind of induction is predicted by Weber's electrodynamics, but not by Maxwellian electrodynamics. An experimental test to check this new effect is proposed. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
