Understanding as a problem of psychology of a man being in the world

The paper deals with two issues:The first one concerns a tendency of humani tarians sciences of XX century to study understanding not only as cognitive phenomenon but also as existential - as the way of human existence in the world, the sense of life' searching. The second issue is the objective foun dations to assert formation a new and branch of psychological science - the psychology of a man being in the world. Its subject area coinsides with th e existential psychology in some respects nevertheless the methods of probl em solving are different in above mentioned areas.
