Magnetic susceptibility measurements for solid solutions of TbFe1-xAlx
O3, in the whole range of Al concentration, have been carried out. The
obtained results indicate an essential role of the Al substitute in t
he magnetic behaviour of examined compounds. The generation of compens
ation effect, which modifies the susceptibility of the system, seems t
o be of particular interest. The compensation temperatures have been d
etermined from some singularities visible on susceptibility curves for
compounds with Al concentration 0.06 less than or equal to x less tha
n or equal to 0.70.
