Abstract
This paper describes the basic constructs of the factor space theory. We fi
rst analyze relationships between factors and define operations of factors.
We then introduce the notion of the description frame - an extension of Eu
clidean space. We show how the description frame may be applied to the repr
esentation of concepts and knowledge. Examples of applications to informati
