Abstract
Simultaneous coordination of thioamide by mercuric bidentate Lewis acids we re investigated. In stoichiometric amounts of 1,8-napthalenediylbis(mercuri c trifluoroacetate) and dimethyl crotonthioamide simultaneous coordination of the two mercury sites to a single thioamide occurs.
