Abstract
Excess molar volumes (V-m(E)) and viscosities (eta) for mixtures of triethy lene glycol dimethyl ether + dichloromethane, + trichloromethane, and + tet rachloromethane have been determined at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure o ver the whole concentration range. From the experimental results, deviation s in viscosities (Delta ln eta) have been calculated. These properties were fitted to the polynomial relations to obtain the coefficients and the stan dard deviations. The results have been analysed in terms of molecular inter actions between components.
