Abstract
Transcriptional control of T cell development is a complex and rapidly movi ng area of investigation. Recent advances reveal critical roles for several transcription factors in T cell commitment, differentiation and selection. In particular, new roles for E proteins as well as members of the Notch si gnaling pathway have been described. Additionally a unique function of Ikar os in chromatin remodeling reveals a novel mechanism by which transcription al control may be exerted.
