Abstract
This study explores the effects of integrative teaching on college students ' unrealistic and romantic beliefs about marriage. The hypothesis that stud ents in the integrative leaching group would significantly lower unrealisti c beliefs was partially supported, with students in the integrative benchin g group significantly lowering their romantic beliefs. Unrealistic relation ship beliefs decreased for both comparison and integrative leaching groups. Women in both groups ascribe to fewer unrealistic relationship and romanti c beliefs. implications of these findings are discussed.
