Abstract
Data on the synthesis and chemical transformations of 3-polyfluoroacyl- and 3-pentafluorobenzoylpyruvates and their derivatives are reviewed. Reaction s giving fluorinated heterocycles and syntheses based on these transformati ons are discussed.
