A procedure for the determination of individual aromatic and heterocyclic a
mino acids in mixtures was developed with the use of the Vierordt method. A
mino acids can be simultaneously determined by this procedure in the concen
tration range (0.4-3.0) x 10(-3) M. The determination errors for binary and
ternary mixtures were no greater than 5 and 10%, respectively. The determi
nation error increases with a decrease in the concentration of a particular
component and with an increase in the number of components in the test mix
ture.
