Abstract
Ferromagnetic resonance cavity and microstrip excitation experiments have b een performed on a straight edge yttrium iron garnet resonator. Both excita tion systems have been modeled as band-stop configurations and a mapping fr om the swept bias magnetic field domain to the frequency domain has been el aborated to compare them in terms of the dispersion and the amplitude of th e magnetostatic wave modes.
