The different temperature-dependent resistivity has been observed in the co
mpounds R6Fe11Al3 (R=La,Nd) with tetragonal Nd6Fe13Si type structure: rho=1
.0x10(-5)+4.85x10(-6) T(0.2)Omega m for R=La and rho=1.0x10(-5)+7.62x10(-7)
T(0.5)Omega m for R=Nd, respectively, while the residual resistivity has a
same value. About 4% negative magnetoresistance is obtained in Nd6Fe11Al3
at 5 K in a field of 6 T, but no magnetoresistance in La6Fe11Al3. (C) 2000
