The problem of isotropic conducting ferromagnetic film subject to in-plane
circular polarized magnetic fields is discussed. This problem requires simu
ltaneous solution of diffusion and Landau-Lifshitz equations. It is observe
d that the mathematical formulation of the problem is invariant with respec
t to rotations in the film plane. By exploiting this invariance, the rotati
onally symmetric solutions of the Landau-Lifshitz equation coupled with the
diffusion equation are obtained and examined. (C) 2000 American Institute
