Abstract
Experiments were conducted in short wide-angle diffusers. The control surfa ce was made of slots and a plenum chamber underneath and on both diverging walls of the diffusers. The experiments included slots normal to the surfac e and a combination of slots normal and inclined to the surface. Passive co ntrol with inclined slots procedure,modest improvement in pressure recovery brit significant increases in the stall angle. [S0098-2202(00)01501-7].
