Abstract
Chlamydia trachomatis and Chlamydia pneumoniae genomes contain genes coding for type III secretion apparatuses. Like other pathogens, Chlamydia probab ly uses this system to secrete proteins in the host cell. With the aim of i dentifying such proteins, we analyzed the organization of Chlamydia type II I secretion genes. (C) 2000 Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SA S.
