Abstract
By comparing lattice data for the two heavy-light mason system (Q(2)(q) ove r bar(2)) with a standard many-body approach employing only interquark pote ntials, it is shown that the use of unmodified two-quark potentials leads t o a gross overestimate of the binding energy.
