Abstract
Herein we report the first example of a catalytic enantioselective Nozaki-H iyama-Kishi reaction performed with a catalytic amount of chiral chromium c omplex. A large variety of non-stereogenic and stereogenic reactive halides can be added to aldehydes to afford the corresponding alcohols with excell ent stereoselectivity using a catalytic amount of chiral chromium complex ( C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd All rights reserved.
