Abstract
The complexation processes occurring in the gelatin-immobilized cobalt(III) hexacyanoferrate(II) matrices contacting aqueous solutions of N,N'-dipheny lthiooxamide were studied. Replacement of the inner-sphere CN- anions in th e cobalt(III) hexacyanoferrate(II) coordination polymer proceeds stepwise a nd gives rise to four water-insoluble coordination compounds, in which the metal : ligand ratios are equal to 2:1, 1 :1 1:2,and 1:3.
