Enthalpies of vaporization of some acetylene peroxy derivatives of carborans-12

The temperature dependences of the saturated vapor pressure and the enthalp ies of vaporization were determined for five acetylene peroxide-containing derivatives of carborans-12 by the Knudsen effusion method. The enthalpies and melting points of the crystal compounds and the temperatures of onset o f decomposition for the liquid compounds were measured by differential scan ning calorimetry.
