Abstract
The formation of the new Zr-Ti-Cu-Ni-Be-Fe bulk amorphous alloy with high s trength is reported. The effects of the iron atom on the glass forming abil ity, hardness, susceptibility and thermal stability of the amorphous alloy are investigated. The role of the iron in the formation of the bulk amorpho us alloy is discussed.
