Possible priorities for future research in the field of marine environmental pollution

In this article future priorities and key areas for future research are ide ntified. Comments and remarks upon strategies to establish priority topics are provided. They concern geographical area, environmental biomonitoring, ecoanalytics, relationships between environment and man, etc. All questions and suggestions presented in this article represent a personal viewpoint o f the author, established on the basis of the cited references, personal ex perience and after discussion with several colleagues.
