Abstract
Immunosensors are devices incorporating antibody-based recognition elements allied to a suitable transducer and offer a wide range of simple diagnosti c tools with powerful analytical performance in the aqueous phase. The need to monitor poorly water-miscible compounds has resulted in increasing rese arch into the behaviour of such devices in the organic phase. (C) 2000 Else vier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
