Abstract
We consider the problem of existence of travelling waves solutions to a sys tem of partial differential equations modelling laser sustained plasma. The proof of existence is carried out under the assumption of sufficiently slo w absorption of laser radiation. We use the methods of geometric singular p erturbation theory, mainly the exchange lemma.
