How often do sexual feelings play a role in psychotherapy processes, and ho
w do therapistshandle such feelings? How do they respond to client reports
of therapist sexual contacts in a former therapy! This study explores those
questions Ly analyzing the responses of 771 female and 430 male members of
the section of "Clinical Psychology" in the BDP. The results clearly show
the influence of gender. Above that, groups of male and female participants
could be identified who tend to handle those situation differently.
