Abstract
A L-leucine-seed-modified quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) oscillator show ed selectively chiral discrimination in situ for leucine enantiomers. The o btained results exhibited strong QCM response to L-leucine, but the respons e to D-leucine was negligible. This selectivity was attributed to preferent ial crystallization of L-leucine at the solid-solution interface. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
