The magnetism of PrCu2Si2 is known to be unique in the sense that the
enhancement of the Neel temperature T(N) with respect to the de Gennes
scaled value is the largest in this rare-earth (RE) series. Here, we
report that T(N) shows a tendency to increase with external pressure,
in sharp contrast to the behaviour noted earlier by positive chemical
pressure generated by the substitution of isoelectronic ions for Pr. P
ossible explanations for this puzzling observation are mentioned.
