Abstract
A new phenol-based tetranucleating macrocycle, having two N(amine)(2)O-2 an d two N(imine)(2)O-2 metal-binding sites in the macrocyclic framework, form s a (Cu2Ni2II)-Ni-II complex of a defective double-cubane structure.
