Abstract
A new type of poly(phenylene vinylene)-polyacrylamide copolymer has been sy nthesized by a modified sulfonium precursor route; the obtained copolymer i s composed of hydrophobic PPV conjugated blocks and hydrophilic polyacrylam ide segments; these two parts show strong phase separation and produce a mu ltiphase structure in the solid state.
