Abstract
Gastrointestinal obstruction is associated with nausea, vomiting, and abdom inal pain. Antisecretory agents fan relieve these symptoms, even in the abs ence of surgical or mechanical intervention. These medical management appro aches are outlined, and recommendations are made.
