Abstract
We study Gibbs-measures and invariant dynamics for 1D-defocusing NLS iu(t) + u(xx) - rho u - u\u\(p-2) = 0 when the period L --> infinity. For all p < infinity,weak solutions are typically Holder continuous on bounded space-t ime regions. If p less than or equal to 4, uniqueness and continuous depend ence on the initial data may be shown.
