Abstract
Selenophorus chaparralus n. sp. is described from Val Verde, Zapata, and Ca meron Counties on the lower Rio Grande of Texas. The male is distinguished by a pair of carinate prominences positioned bilaterally on the disc of abd ominal sternum VII.
