Abstract
We report the H band luminescence due to an indirect exciton composed of a two-dimensional electron and a hole in a modulation-doped GaAs/AlGaAs doubl e heterostructure. The two-dimensional feature of the H band was clearly re vealed by far-infrared optically detected cyclotron resonance in tilted mag netic fields, In addition, the Fermi-edge singularity was observed in the I I band spectra and the characteristics of excitons have been confirmed by t he magneto-oscillatory spectra.
