Abstract
We report on the micro-photoluminescence study of the CuCl QDs attempting t o observe the single QD luminescence. Using two-photon resonant excitation, we observed several sharp emission lines from individual CuCl QDs. The sin gle QD luminescence exhibited rapid flickering and fading phenomena suggest ing ionization of the QD caused by the cascade excitation of the confined e xciton. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
