Abstract
The nuclear spin Hamiltonian in gold consists of the dipolar and Ruder man-Kittel interactions. From double spin-flip NMR, one can obtain the relative strengths of these two interactions. Using the spherical mod el, we calculate the intensity of the double spin-flip NMR line for th e gold nuclear spin system in order to determine whether this harmonic mode can be detected.
