Abstract
By means of Collins' diffraction integral formula in the paraxial appr oximation, the analytical expressions for an azimuthally polarized Bes sel-Gauss beam through any axisymmetric optical system that can be des cribed by an ABCD ray transfer matrix are given in this paper. Free sp ace propagation and the Fourier transfer system are also analysed and discussed as particular cases.
